Journey to the best health of my life (yes, the journey includes olives)

Day 1: 30 days of cardio blast

I completed day 1! It was good. Hard. But good.  The challenge was everything I expected: it didn’t look too bad on paper, but once I got going I was breathing hard and fast.  I’m allowed to take up to 2 minutes break between sets.  I took 30 to 50 seconds for the first half of the sets, and 60 to 75 seconds for the last half.  My legs definitely felt it, and it got me sweating.

I’ll do a more detailed report in the next few days, but I wanted to check in and let you all know I DID IT!  1 down, only 29 to go!  Happy dance time 🙂

I’m a 30-something female who’s striving to be the healthiest woman I can be through diet and exercise. In early 2013 I was introduced to the world of Paleo. I completed Whole30 and had fantastic results. I had finally found something that worked for me! My blog is a jumble of my thoughts as I take the journey through my life. Somewhere for me to unleash my views, my challenges, my failures and my successes (hopefully!).

  1. Sounds tough. Is it like HIIT?

    • The first day was a bit like that. It was a quick circuit that got my heart rate up, let it drop and then got it back up again. However, day 4, for example, is 100 squats throughout the day. So, it won’t be like that every day. Neila does have a 30 day HIIT program. I think that will be the next one I try after Cardio Blast is done 🙂

  2. i migbt give this a try.
