What happened to February?

Being sick is no fun

I can’t believe it’s already March. I feel like Febraury has been a bust for me. I was sick a couple of weekends ago. I thought I got over it, but it came back with a vengence (or it’s something new). I have a fever, shivers, aches and a cough – one of those coughs that comes from deep within and it takes all your energy to cough (and you feel like you’re hacking up your lungs). No one likes to be sick. It’s bumps in the road that we all face. I’m focusing on getting better and hopefully March will be a better month.

I’ve put up a couple of posts in the last couple of weeks, but I haven’t been on much to read or comment so I hope the rest of the STMC challengers are doing better than me! There’s 61 days left for the challenge – we still have time to challenge ourselves and make a difference.

I’m a 30-something female who’s striving to be the healthiest woman I can be through diet and exercise. In early 2013 I was introduced to the world of Paleo. I completed Whole30 and had fantastic results. I had finally found something that worked for me! My blog is a jumble of my thoughts as I take the journey through my life. Somewhere for me to unleash my views, my challenges, my failures and my successes (hopefully!).

  1. Aww, sweetie! I’m sorry to hear that you’re feeling under the weather. 😦 I’m still getting over my cold or whatever the heck that demon was. It sucks, but don’t worry. You’ll come back and you’ll be kicking a$$ when you do. Keep relaxing and you’ll be better in no time. I can’t believe there’s only 61 days until May! That is crazy to me. Weren’t we just talking about how there were 105 days until May? It seems like the time IS sprinting! Good grief. Lol! Anyway, I hope that you get better soon. We miss you around here.

    • Thanks for the wishes and support – my fever broke last night so I think I’m on the mend. I think it will still be a few days until I’m fully in the swing of things, but things are looking up!! Time is sprinting – I’m looking forward to getting back to focusing on my goals! Love your new avatar by the way 🙂
