Journey to the best health of my life (yes, the journey includes olives)

Time to weigh in! #2

I’m taking part in the STMC challenge. It is helping me stay accountable and focused. However, the last 2 weeks have been difficult personally on a number of levels that I won’t go into. My food has been on plan but my exercise levels have dropped. There was no change in my weight from my last weigh in 2 weeks ago. I’m actually relieved as I thought for sure I had gone up. I’ll take it!

Today is a new day. There is a pizza lunch at work for the hockey game. I’m prepared – I have my own (yummy) lunch. In addition, my gym bag is packed and ready for this evening. Tomorrow the office will be overflowing with chocolates. I will need my motivation list to stay on track, but I WILL keep to plan!

I’m a 30-something female who’s striving to be the healthiest woman I can be through diet and exercise. In early 2013 I was introduced to the world of Paleo. I completed Whole30 and had fantastic results. I had finally found something that worked for me! My blog is a jumble of my thoughts as I take the journey through my life. Somewhere for me to unleash my views, my challenges, my failures and my successes (hopefully!).

  1. That progress line is the truth! There will be days of little or no loss, and days of accelerated loss. It’s about the journey!

  2. I’m sorry to hear that these past two weeks have been difficult for you. 😦 As your picture depicts, this journey is not linear and that’s okay. It looks like you’re looking at the bigger picture and that’s what’s going to carry you through these tough times. I believe with all my heart that you’re going to rebound and blow us away with your achievements. I look forward to that and I don’t care how long it takes to get there.

Speaking of getting there, you are already taking the necessary steps to do just that! Good job! Picking yourself up and continuing forward is incredibly hard, but you’re doing it! You’re AWESOME and this little setback will disappear from your memory one day. Keep doing all the right things and you’ll get there. I’m in your corner, cheering you on! 🙂

    • Thank you for your kind words and support. It means a lot to me. One thing I’m sure of is that I will never ever give up – I’m working on changing my life for good, and I won’t stop until I get there. I’ll take the windy road as long as I get there. Thanks for the awesome cheering 😀

  3. Oh man I can identify what your success image! Sometimes we take two steps forward, four steps back, six steps sideways and 1 leapfrog into another dimension. Who cares.. as long as our intentions are good, our will is determined and our hopes alive in our hearts… good luck!

    • You made me laugh, especially when I read “a leapfrog into another dimension” – I definitely relate to that! You’re right – who cares – we just have to stay determined and focus. Never ever give up! Good luck to you too my friend!
