Journey to the best health of my life (yes, the journey includes olives)

Good morning – It’s time to laugh

I woke up this morning and I was freezing. I left the house and it was even colder. All I wanted to do was crawl back under the covers. I’m about to start my day at work and remembered one of my favourite quotes:

“The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.”
~ E. E. Cummings

I’m not gonig to waste today – I’m going to remember to laugh – and I’m going to laugh everyday.

Sometimes I find that I’m just going through the motions – wake up, get ready, go to work, run errands/go to the gym, come home, cook dinner, go to sleep and do it all again tomorrow. Part of my reason for starting this blog, and focusing on me, is to try and get myself out of this rut.

Life is for the living, not for crawling back under the covers. So get up and laugh! Break through the gloomy winter clouds and have a wonderful day 🙂 (and if you are lucky enough to have some sunshine today then please send some over my way!)

I’m a 30-something female who’s striving to be the healthiest woman I can be through diet and exercise. In early 2013 I was introduced to the world of Paleo. I completed Whole30 and had fantastic results. I had finally found something that worked for me! My blog is a jumble of my thoughts as I take the journey through my life. Somewhere for me to unleash my views, my challenges, my failures and my successes (hopefully!).

  1. I have a little wooden carving in my classroom that says, “laugh.” It’s a reminder for me, not the kids. They don’t need one. Sending Southwest sunshine your way.

    • We all need some of that “kid happiness” in us – somewhere along the way it gets lost and we always have to bring it back. Thanks for the Southwest sunshine… I’m basking in it! 🙂
